Hi, I'm Noëlle. Some people call me Ellie. I live in Michigan with my cat Bioux (pronounced "boo") and the Vampire, a System One home hemodialyzer.

I started this blog in November 2023 as a way to get myself writing something every day. It hasn't succeeded - I don't even think I won NaBloPoMo - but it's a good way for me to get out what I'm thinking about in a longer form that doesn't really fit social media.

Also, I'm trying to quit social media, at least for a while.
